CSC International Club presents the 39th annual Food Tasting Party

CHADRON – The Chadron State College International Club will host its 39th Food Tasting Party March 23 at 6 p.m. in the CSC Student Center Ballroom. The dress code is formal attire, and the evening will include performances, a fashion show, and cuisine from different countries.

Members of the club will prepare dishes including Japanese Tsukune, Arepas, Nigerian jollof Rice, Ethiopian Tibs, and Discada. Vegetarian options will also be available.

The International Club has arranged for entertainment throughout the night including Chinese opera singer Yan Liu and the Los Guadaluponos dance group of Scottsbluff, Nebraska. CSC musicians will also provide live music. Club members and friends will present a fashion show with outfits from their respective countries reflecting the formal theme of the event.

“This year we’re going big. We’re going to be regal, classy, and fancy,” said International Club President, Emmanuella Tchona.

The dinner is sponsored by the International Club, Conferencing, Dining Services, the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, the Maintenance Department, College Relations, and The Big Event.

Tickets are free for CSC students and children under the age of five. Adult tickets are $20 and tickets for Senior Citizens ages 55 and older and children ages 6-17 are $15.
